If the infosystem in Your 2017 Mazda CX5 goes dark, drops phone calls and seems to be rebooting there could be one of several issues going on. One of the simplest fixes, although not always successful is a software problem. You would have to take the car to the dealership and have them update the software. There have been many complaints of this same problem going on with other owners of the CX5. These complaints tend to suggest it only happens when the temperatures outdoors drop below 20 degrees Fahrenheit. This indicates a thermal mechanical issue, as the temperatures drop the metal can contract causing it to lose connection with the connector. Finally, there may be an issue with the radio unit itself, replacing it should resolve the problem.
