You will run into problems with the oil at some point. Old or bad oil can cause the engine to stop working. Knocking noise may come about from the engine. You could experience terrible gas mileage. A common problem is an awful burning odor. This needs to be viewed closely as soon as possible or the car might explode. Your oil needs to be changed out someday. Every 5,000 to 10,000 miles or so is a good rule of thumb. If You don't replace it, there will be problems with the engine.

Turn the ignition to the on position without starting the engine. Now you will press the disc menu button on the turn signal lever. Using the thumbwheel, scroll up and select remaining oil life. Press the set/clear button. There will be a question that appears. Once it does, select yes in order to confirm. Turn the ignition off.
