After the oil has been replaced in Your 2018 Chrysler Pacifica, You will need to reset the service light. This takes only a couple minutes to do and requires no tools. Begin with the vehicle parked and all doors closed. Turn the ignition to RUN, which is the position just before actually starting the engine. Use the up and down arrow buttons in the cluster of controls on the left side of the steering wheel to find the VEHICLE INFO menu. Use the right arrow button found in the same location as the previous ones to navigate to OIL LIFE. When You reach that, press the OK button in the same cluster of controls and it will reset the oil life back to 100%. Turn the ignition to Off and then start the engine to make sure the reset has been completed and saved.

First, you want to put the key in the ignition. You then want put push it forward without starting the car. If it's a push button start, press the button twice. Make sure you do not press the brake in any of the situations, however. After that, you want to press the accelerator all the way down three times in a ten second time period. Another alternative is to put the ignition forward without starting. From there, you press ok on the steering wheel menu, go to "oil life" feature, press ok scroll left until you hit "vehicle life", and press ok. ,

Perhaps there's been an update - as of today 3/10/24, our 2018 Pacifica (hybrid) must be fully on (Brake + ignition) and in Park, to reset the oil life. Same menu, and message to "Hold OK to reset oil life" - but holding OK will only reset when all systems are active and ready to drive.
