The 2019 Honda HR-V has a maximum towing capacity of up to 1,500 pounds. This is not considered to be very much, but it is optimal for the size of the vehicle. It will enable You to pull small trailers with loads, or a small camper. The tongue weight for this vehicle is 150 pounds, which is measured at 10 to 15 percent of the total towing capacity. For the 2019 model year, Honda made it possible to finally tow a trailer with the HR-V. Honda continues to use the 127 lb-ft. Of torque from the inline-4 engine from years past, but made the frame capable of bearing the load of a trailer. The 2019 Honda HR-V has been redesigned to be able to pull a trailer and its contents with a maximum combined weight of 1,500 lbs. The tongue is restricted to 150 lbs.
