You can extend Your engine life, get better gas mileage, and have better performance if You change Your oil regularly. Routine oil and filter changes help remove particles and sludge from the engine. If the oil isn't changed, Your vehicle's engine will start to have a lot of problems.Over time the oil will become thinner, abrasive, and will start to wear down on vital engine parts. Synthetic oil is by far better for performance. It protects the engine due to lower levels of friction.

My 2019 Ram 1500 (etorque 6) says 0w20 on the cap. Dealership charges $81 for a service, local repair shop with a great reputation is $45 plus tax and includes a free tire rotation. This shop also keeps records for warranty purposes.

MOSTLY ALL DODGE OR CHRYSLER PRODUCTS USE LIGHT WEIGHT OIL. IT NOT A GOOD IDEAL TO TRY ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE FACTORY SPECIFIED OILS, ANTIFREEZE, AND OTHER FLUIDS.

I've had four of the Pentastar 3.6L engines and every one of them has taken six (6) quarts of full synthetin 5W-20, not five (5) quarts.

My 2019 Ram 1500 Classic 3.6 takes 6 Qts to reach FULL line on the dipstick... Not sure why so many folks are saying 5 Qts... My owners manual also says 6 Qts.

If your oil cap says 0w20 it takes 5 quarts. If it says 5w20 it takes 6 quarts
