There are not any active recalls for the throttle position sensor in a 2009 Chevy Impala. Recalls are usually only issued when a certain percentage of parts in a production run have failed so manufactures decide it is best to replace them all. There is a service bulletin that has been issued about the throttle position sensor though. That means that if You have a problem with Yours and You take it to a Chevy dealership there is a good chance they will be able to fix it under warranty for You. Usually when there is a problem with the sensor You will notice a loss of power and a decrease in overall throttle response from the vehicle.
