The 2011 Nissan Murano is only going to be able to make phone calls through it's bluetooth connectivity. It will not have the ability to stream music through this service. In order to play music from Your iPhone and in to Your vehicle's stereo You're going to need to purchase an adapter so that You can plug it in to Your aux port. These adapters will only cost a few dollars. Once You're connected You'll only need to start some music playing on Your device and then switch Your radio in to aux mode by pressing the auxButton located on Your stereo.

Some vehicles do not have that ability. On my Nissan, I have an Iphone 7 and can connect bluetooth for calls and such, but the capability to stream music is only available through the aux port. There are external bluetooth devices that can be connected to the radio to stream from your phone. Upgrading the head unit may also be an option.
