No, the 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid does not have an alternator. Instead, it's got what's called a combined motor/generator, which replaces the separate alternator and starter motor on these vehicles, and provide some or all of the mechanical power to the wheels, as well as charge the large storage battery. You might care to know that the hybrid battery in Your vehicle has a service life of SRX to ten years, and are legally required to come with an eight year or 100,000 mile warranty (which ever happens first). This is good news, since hybrids can't actually properly run without the main battery, regardless of it You jump the 12 volt.
