Beginning with the 2017 model year the Chevy Trax came with push button start as standard. This is a more modern and secure way to start a car than a traditional key. To use the push button start system in Your Chevy all You need to do is make sure that You have Your key fob in the vehicle. It could be in Your pocket or Your purse, just as long as it is in the cab it will work. Next You need to put Your foot on the brake pedal and push it down. With Your foot on the brake press and hold the engine start stop button on the dash. When You are done driving put the vehicle in park and press the button again to turn it off.
