The Honda CR-V does not have the option for a V6 engine in the current models and there has never been a model produced that had a V6 as standard or available as an option. The current model comes equipped with a 1.5 L 4Cylinder engine that is able to produce 190 hp. It's a small engine but it's still able to pack a bit of a punch. Honda currently has no plans to release a V6 model for this vehicle as it is a subcompact vehicle so there would not be room enough to add one unless a major redesign occurred.

A woman i know in Iowa has an older CRV with a 6 cylinder engine! She would never trade it! I just remember it had a spare on the rear with a hard cover but do not know the year.
