The 2003 Dodge Durango does come equipped with an EGR valve as stated by the manufacturer. The EGR valve can be found attached tot he rear left cylinder head and is connected to the intake manifold. The exhaust gas recirculation is a way that exhauSTSystems will control the Nitrous emission in engines. The EGR will do this by lowering the oxygen concentration inside the combustion chamber. You can also remove them and clean them as a lot of times they do not need to be replaced as they are only d***y. The EGR valve if needing to be replaced will cost approximately $30 - $60 depending on if it's an OEM or aftermarket part.

Yes. Instead of being replaced, they can often just be cleaned.
