All trim levels of the 2005 Honda Civic including the hybrid models came equipped with front wheel drive and there was no option to upgrade Your vehicle to either all wheel drive or rear wheel drive. This has remained true to this day and there has been no Civic made with four wheel drive or all wheel drive. If You want an AWD vehicle from Honda You have the option of getting an HR-V, CR-V, Pilot, or the Ridgeline. No car type vehicles are going to have it so You're going to have to go with an SUV or a truck.

The 2005 Honda Civic DX, LX, EX, Si, and Hybrid are only available in FWD (Front-Wheel Drive). There is no option for AWD (All-Wheel Drive) or RWD (Rear-Wheel Drive) in the foreseeable for the Honda Civic.
