Does the 2005 Nissan Armada have a timing belt or chain?

The 2005 Nissan Armada comes with a timing chain on the engine. This is a superior option to a timing belt in my opinion because it will not need to be changed. Usually a timing belt is the most expensive piece of regular maintenance that will need to be done on a vehicle, but with a timing chain this is not the case. Usually a timing chain should be able to last over 300,000 miles with no problems at all. I recommend You still inspect the chain at least once a year to make sure that it is not loose and that it is free form debris. If it is loose You will want to make sure that the tensioner is working properly.
