Good news! The 2007 Acura RDX has a timing chain, not a timing belt. Unless theres a more serious problem, Youll never have to worry about changing out the chain. If for some reason something does go wrong, Youre looking at a cost of about $415 to $1,050. To avoid issues, there are steps You can take to MINImize the risks. The most important thing is staying on top of Your cars oil schedule maintenance. Change it out once every SRX months or 5,000 miles - one may come before the other for You, so do whatever comes first. You also need to be sure to check oil levels once a month or so. The oil should be somewhere between the min and max lines. Top it up if below, and drain some if above.
