The 2007 Chevy Colorado does have a fuel filter. Having the fuel burn efficiently is the key to maximizing Your miles per gallon. Your gas tank needs to be in the beSTShape. You will come into problems at some point. The gas tank could become loose. A bad control valve might arise. The gas cap could become stuck and will be quite an ordeal to deal with. There might be gas leaks, which need to be looked into pronto. Vehicle parts will eventually become ineffective. The fuel filter needs to be changed every 30,000 miles. If it doesn't, You will come across problems with the performance.

The 2007 Chevrolet Colorado fuel filter is located within the fuel pump module inside of the fuel tank. This filter is made to last the life of the fuel pump. There is no service interval as far as replacing this item. The filter is only serviced as part of the complete fuel pump module.
