The 2007 Toyota Prius comes standard with front wheel drive. There are not any options to install all wheel drive on the car at all. Front wheel drive is a preferred method of driving for a simple car that is used to commute. It's not too sporty and does not have excessive horsepower so You should not have any problems with torque steer using front wheel drive. Front wheel drive is also preferable in the event that You get stuck in the snow. Having the weight of the engine over the drive wheels allows it to keep traction better and get out of areas where rear wheel drive cars may get stuck.
