The 2008 Hyundai Sonata does not come equipped with an aux port. This may come as a surprise, as many cars of that period did come with it. This failure by Hyundai to include the aux deprived owners of an easy option to hook up their external devices like music players. The CD player might be sufficient for some. However, since a lot of people have moved away from buying music on physical media such as compact discs, an auxBecomes a very valuable option. This way You can connect a device such as a phone or mp3 player, and play the digital downloads You have purchased. Newer cars are moving toward things like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so I guess the digital trend is here to stay.

The 2008 Hyundai Sonata does not contain an auxiliary port. However, one may be added via the addition of an aftermarket head unit.

No, the 2008 Hyundai Sonata does not have an aux input. The factory-equipped radio has an XM input, but there are aftermarket radios that come with an auxiliary jack.
