The 2008 Toyota Kluger, which is also known by the name of the Highlander, will have a timing chain whether it's the 4Cylinder engine or the V6 engine. While the chain and belt perform the same job there are differences in how they are built. The belts are cheaper and made of rubber so they will eventually wear down over time and need to be replaced while the chain is metal and can last for the life of Your engine. The chain can still be damaged and malfunction though and this may be the case if You're experiencing engine mIS Fires, rattling while idle, or if the engine fails to start at all. -
