Chevy Tahoe models froM2007-2015 are not equipped with a cabin air filter. Current 2020 models of are outfitted with one either under the dashboard behind the glove compartment box. Many consider a cabin air filter to be an integral part of a healthy environment, keeping the interior of the truck free of dust, dirt and allergy-causing pollens. A filter also works with the HVAC system of a vehicle to protect its fan and ducts from clogging or damage. When servicing a CAF, keep in mind it must be changed as a part of a routine maintenance schedule, and while this interval varies based on make and model owned, most manufacturers recommend replacing the CAF at least every 15,000 and 30,000 miles to keep the interior of the vehicle clean.

The 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe does not have a cabin air filter standard. The 2007-2013 Tahoe has the option of adding an air filter if desired, but this is not standard equipment.
