There have been complaints of 2010 Ford F-150s having a shudder or vibration issue. According to the Ford TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) the problem mostly applies to trucks made between 2009 - 2010 and equipped with A6R80 transmission. The problem is said to happen while traveling at low speeds and light acceleration between 30 - 35 mph while the vehicle downshifts. The TSB suggests that the first fix to be applied is a reprogRam of the onboard computer that controls the shift points. If that does not correct the problem, the next option is usually to replace the torque converter. Being that this issue is well known, most repairs have been covered by Ford if the vehicle is still within warranty.

If you experience shuddering and vibrations when accelerating the 2010 ford f150, chances are there are issues with the vehicles torque converter. Have it checked for replacement.
