The 2012 Honda Odyssey does have a spare tire and it is what is referred to as a space saver spare, since it is smaller in size than the OEM wheel. You can find the tire located under the carpet in the second row behind the driver's seat. The tool kit is also located in this area that You will need to change a tire if You get a flat. Always be sure to jack up Your van on level ground, and make sure to use the OEM jack points located on the bottom of it. They stand out since they are pinch welds that stick down further than Your unibody. Jacking from other locations can damage the body panels or cause Your vehicle to slip off the jack.

The compact spare tire for my 2012 Honda Odyssey EX is located between the front seats and the middle row seats in the floor. I move the mats, pull the tab to lift up the carpet and access the tire compartment containing the flat repair tools and the compact spare tire.
