Whether You have a timing belt or a timing chain in Your 2013 Dodge Dart will depend on what is under the hood. If You have a model with the 2.0L or 2.4L standard engines then You'll come equipped with a timing chain. These chains are going to last the life of the vehicle and it's unlikely they'll ever need to be replaced unless You end up in an accident. If You have a model equipped with the 1.4L turbo engine then it's going to run on a timing belt system. These timing belts are going to need to be replaced out around every 100,000 miles. So likely only once or twice over the life of the vehicle.
