The 2014 BMW 5 Series does have all wheel drive. Having good steering is crucial for changing lanes and moving about on the road. You will someday come across some problems though. It could turn to one side. The steering wheel may become stuck. The steering pump may become loose and that will spell disaster for Your vehicle. The strut bearings might become bad. The rack mount can become faulty. Steering fluid might leak at one point. The power steering fluid needs to be changed every 75,000 miles or so. Along with replacing fluids, You will come across noises from steering parts. A loose bearing will become painful to the ear. A faulty bearing will make a terrible sound.

The 2014 BMW 5 Series sedan is offered in five basic trim levels: 4-cylinder 528i, 6-cylinder 535i, turbodiesel 535d, V8-powered 550i and ActiveHybrid 5. The 2014 5 Series comes standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Some models have the BMW's all-wheel-drive system (xDrive) and a manual transmission are available. All-wheel drive is an option on all except the ActiveHybrid 5, which is rear-drive-only.
