The 2014 Honda Accord doesn't have remote start. This piece of the car will eventually become ineffective someday. The battery will need to be replaced every 50,000 to 60,000 miles. It might coSTSome money, but You will have to cough up the cash to keep Your car running. You will come into problems with the battery during the life cycle of the vehicle. For one, the battery can just die. You will need to recharge or replace it at this point. There can be a leak, causing the fluid to spill out. The battery can drain rapidly and will need to fixed. A cracked case could arise and will need to be replaced completely.

Not sure what James B is talking about. What does the battery have to do with the after market remote start? Absolutely nothing!! A 2014 Accord does not come with remote start but you can purchase an after market one for $250-$500. Car Toys, Best Buy, etc.

Not normally but it may be added by custom shop or garage. Or at the dealer at a greater cost.
