The 2015 Volvo XC60 comes with a timing belt on the engine. This is something that You will need to replace on the engine. The timing belt on Your vehicle will need to be serviced every 60,000 to 100,000 miles. It is a complex procedure to replace the belt so expect it to cost $500 to $800 for a complete service. When You do the timing belt service iAlso recommend having the water pump replaced. They are in the same area and it can save You a lot on labor to get them done at the same time. It is important to change Your timing belt out because if it does fail and break You could wind up with a destroyed engine.

According to my local Volvo dealership all xc60's have a timing belt NOT chain and it needs replacing every 90000 miles or 10 years whichever comes round first.
