Yes, the 2016 Dodge Charge comes with a built in vehicle security alarm (VSA). The VSA monitors the doors for unauthorized entry as well as the keyless enter-n-go start/stop button for unauthorized usage. While the VSA is engaged, interior switches for door locks and the trunk release are disabled. If anything triggers it, the VSA will provide Audible and visible signals in the form of the horn pulsing and the parking lamps flashing, as well as the vehicle security light in the instrument panel flashing. To arm the VSA, turn off the engine, and then push LOCK on the interior power door luck switch while the driver door's open. The passenger door can be open as well. Then, push the lock button the exterior passive entry door handle with a valid key fob in the exterior proximity zone, and push the LOCK button that. Disabling is a matter of reversing these steps using the UNLOCK button.
