The 2016 Ford Focus transmission problems are jerks and stuck in gear. The transmission fluid needs to be replaced every 30,000 to 60,000 miles. Along with fluid changes, terrible sounds will come from the transmission. Old transmission fluid will be awful to the ear. A worn out torque converter will cause a headache. The transmission is one of the most crucial parts of the vehicle. You will come into issues at some point. Delayed shifts will cause acceleration issues. The transmission might slip. You could experience shudders. Hard shifts could arise and that is not good. There may be jerking. The gears might become stuck. If the transmission fluid leaks, that needs to be fixed quickly.

Yes, 2016 Ford Focus definetly has transmission problems with the dual clutch automatic transmission. The transmission is optional on the S and SE, but somes standard on the Titanium. Ford had to settle a class action lawsuit because of defectives in the transmission.
Why I am paying to have the insides of my transmission replaced when it came from the manufacturer built stupidly?

The 2016 ford focus does have transmission problems such as a fluid leak, and that the transmission will drop into neutral between gears leading to a lack of acceleration. Hence, the 2016 ford focus does have transmission problems.

Yes it does have transmission issues. Having problems now took in to fix, dealership kept one day and said it was fixed. Picked up started same thing the very next day. Now dealership says I need a $2500.00 clutch job. Now car is making sound when turning.
The ford focus has several transmission problems with the dual clutch automatic transmission, and ford had to settle a class action lawsuit because of these problems.

Yes. There is a current recall for the actuators in the transmission. Google it. They are dry dual clutches that they used to save weight and are prone to problems. There was a class action lawsuit over it as well but i do not know the disposition of the case atm.

Yes it does on the 2016, my dad just bought one used with only 45,000 miles and the trans is slipping when hot and taking off from a stop.
We’ve taken ours to Ford on 3 occasions thus far. Last time couldn’t replicate the problem. That was a month ago. Today, SIL calls and tells us the car lost all acceleration and a “transmission” fault popped up. Taking it back in Monday.
