All Journey trim levels come with a spare tire. It has a steel rim and is located underneath the rear of the vehicle and secured with a cable winch mechanism. On the 7 passenger Journey it may make it easier to fold the third row to make more space to work. If you are purchasing a used Journey, check to make sure the spare tire is present. The previous own may have used it and not replaced it.
