The 2017 Ford Escape does come with a spare tire for the vehicle which is pretty useful if You ever have a flat tire. To put the spare tire You should be parked out of the way and on a level surface. The location of the spare on the Escape is in the trunk and under the trunk lining. To be able to get the spare tire out of the trunk, You need to remove the wing nut which is on the tire by turning it counter clockwise. After removing the wing nut You just lift out the spare tire but be careful because it weighs a bit. Under the tire is components of the jack kit and to the left of the tire is the lug nut wrench.

All Escape models come with a compact spare tire standard. This is a welcome relief for those who feel more comfortable with them. Being stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire is stressful enough. Nobody wants to have to learn how to use a fix-a-flat kit on top of it all.
