The 2017 Ford Fusion comes with optional remote start if You get the titanium trim option on it. The remote start system uses Your stock key fob and there is a remote start button that is added to it that You will need to double press and hold to start up the vehicle. Having a remote start system is a great thing if You live in a place that gets excessively hot or cold. This can allow You to cool down or heat up the cabin of the vehicle to be more comfortable driving in the car. Remote start also lets Your engine get up to operating temperature before You start driving.

The Fusion does not have a remote start option from the factory. However, Ford offers a plug and play aftermarket option. There are also remote start kits form other sources. Repair shops can install this system for you to ensure it works properly. If you get the plug and play kit from Ford, you can install it by yourself.
