The 2017 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid is not equipped with a traditional or donut sized spare tire. You will find, instead, a "tire mobility kit" or TMK under the floorboard of the MKZ's trunk. The TMK is equipped with everything needed to repair rather than replace a flat tire. Usually this consists of a sticky sealant that is integrated with an air compressor or pump, attached to a hose. The air compressor is used for re-inflating sealing any punctures in the flat, so the car can be driven to a repair center. By omitting the spare Lincoln hopes to reduce the weight of their vehicles, increase cargo space and improve fuel economy and performance.

Correct that there is no spare. There is a tire repair system. However, I was told by the dealer that a spare tire IS available as an option. So it is possible that someone does have a spare tire.
Light on dash says the tire mobility kit needs service, what does that mean and can I get a regular spare

Ashley, how did you get the spare? I’ve been trying and can’t find one anywhere.
