The 2018 Acura RDX has remote start. You will come into issues with the battery during the life cycle of the vehicle. For one, the battery can just be completely out of juice. You will need to recharge or replace it at this point. There can be a leak, causing the fluid to come out. The battery can drain quickly and will need to fixed. A cracked case could come about and will need to be replaced completely. This part of the car will eventually become ineffective at some point. The battery will need to be changed every 50,000 to 60,000 miles. It may coSTSome money, but You will have to cough up the cash to keep Your car running.

Yes, the 2018 Acura RDX has remote start, but it's not standard. Remote start capability is part of the optional Advance Package. The remote start function works from the key fob - there is no smartphone app. Press the lock button, then press and hold the engine button. A green light will flash on the fob once the car is successfully started. If a red light flashes, check to see if your trunk is properly closed and try again. The remote start function automatically warms or cools the interior to 72 degrees, and in cold weather, kicks on the defroster.
