The 2018 Acura TLX doesn't come with a spare tire. Making sure Your tires are in the greatest of condition is key to not crashing. You will come into issues with this part at some time or another. You might run into feathering issues. Premature tire wear is something to be on the lookout for. You could face cupping problems. Check for holes, in case You run over a nail. The part may become loose at some point. Make sure to check the tire pressure once a month. This part will need to be replaced eventually. You should change Your tires every 30,000 to 50,000 miles or so. You don't want to get into any wrecks on the road.

Acura does not include a spare tire, as so many other car makers have done, with the TLX front wheel drive versions. Because of this, the 2018 Acura TLX 2.4 liter and 3.5 liter front wheel drive versions come with a tire inflator kit instead of a spare. A theory as to why so many companies are getting rid of this useful car tool is to reduce weight and help maintain strict emission levels. Whether that is the case or not, it is strange how the lighter, front wheel drive models don't have a spare but all of the heavier, all wheel drive models do. Acura does provide consumers with an option if a spare tire is a necessity in the SH-AWD, the SH-AWD w/ Technology Package, the SH-AWD w/ Technology Package and A-Spec and the SH-AWD w/ Advance Package.
