While many vehicle manufacturers are quickly doing away with the CD player as archain technology, Audi still included it in the Q7 as of model year 2018. You won't, however, find it in the usual location on the dash; it's hidden somewhere significantly less conspicuous. In order to gain access to the CD / DVD unit, You'll need to look to the player in Your center console. While it may be good news that the '18 Q7 still includes a CD player, You'll likely want to migrate away from the technology as soon as possible. It's possible that this will be the last vehicle You'll buy that has a player. You can fit hundreds, or even thousands, of CDs on a single USB stick, and many more on a dedicated MP3 player or moSTsmartphones.

Yes, the 2018 Audi Q7 has a CD player as part of the entertainment system. The single disc CD player is included on the base model Q7 Premium, Q7 Premium Plus and the fully loaded Prestige. Note that the system also has a free trial subscription to Sirius radio for 3 months.
