The 2018 Ford Escape does have remote start. You will come into problems with the battery during the life cycle of the vehicle. There can be a leak, causing the fluid to spill all over the place. Remote start is available on the 2018 Ford Escape through the Escape's SYNC-Connect embedded 4G-LTE module. This module is available on SE in a package, and is standard on SEL and Titanium trim levels.
