The 2018 Toyota Avalon Touring and Limited come standard with a premium Audio package that includes JBL speakers as well as a remote start system. The remote start on the Avalon is considered an upgrade and is only included on the model's more pricier and equipped trim levels. The remote start can be enabled in one of two ways. The driver may download the RS app for an Android or iPhone and use it to enable a RS through their smart phone, or they can use a chipped key fob. To activate the RS with a key, depress the lock button once and then again within 1 second. Press the button a third time but holding for 3 seconds. The vehicle should fire.
