The 2018 Toyota Camry does have android auto. You will come into issues with the sound. The source could be from the stereo's speakers or a phone that is connected to the vehicle. Whatever the source, You will have to have these issues solved pronto. If the problems are from the stereo's speakers, it could be static sounds, randomly turns off, a loose wire, or a blown fuse. If the problems are coming from the phone, it could be that the software won't update, the device will not sync with the vehicle, the phone's battery is almost dead, or an object is blocking the signal.

The 2018 Toyota Camry does not use Android auto. Instead, they use Entune 3.0 software , which will provide connectivity to mobile phone handsets via the Entune 3.0 App Suite Connect app. With the app installed, Entune provides access to popular mobile apps that can be used via the Entune based infotainment.
