The 2019 BMW X5 does not come standard with a spare tire. However, there's a manufacturer's option to equip it with one, but it'll cost You about $300 extra. This puts a donut under a trim piece in the rear cargo area, along with everything You'll need to change (a primitive scissor jack and a tire iron). However, each '19 X5 comes standard with run flat tires; whether the $300 upgrade is worth the cost depends on how much You trust that technology. I personally would prefer the peace of mind of having a spare; however, You can get a full size mounted tire for only a few hundred more, so if You already have a jack and iron, this may represent the better choice.
