The 2019 Toyota Tacoma comes with automatic headlights as part of the premium package. Automatic headlights are designed to turn on when an ambient light sensor detects that it is too dark outside. This can save You the hassle of having to remember to turn on Your headlight switch. Automatic headlights have been around for decades, and while the first generations had some problems turning on, Toyota has them working very well in their most recent vehicles. If You ever happen to notice that Your headlights are not turning on the most common problem is user error. The lines on the top of Your light stalk should all line up to indicate that it is in automatic headlight mode.
