The Ford Escape fuel pump problems are surging and difficult to start. Car parts will eventually become ineffective. The fuel filter needs to be replaced every 30,000 miles. If it doesn't, you will come across issues with the performance. Having the fuel burn greatly is the key to maximizing your miles per gallon. Your gas tank needs to be in top shape. You will come into issues at some point. A bad control valve might arise. The gas tank could become loose. There could be gas leaks, which need to be looked into pronto. The gas cap can become stuck and will be quite a hassle to deal with.

The ford escape has had some issues with the fuel system, but not a whole lot of them are related to the fuel pump specifically.
