The Subaru Forester does have a full size spare tire. This part will need to be replaced eventually. You should change Your tires every 30,000 to 50,000 miles or so. You don't want to get into any wrecks on the road. Making sure Your tires are in the greatest of condition is crucial to not crashing. You will come into problems with this car part at some time or another. You could face cupping problems. Premature tire wear is something to be on the lookout for. You might run into feathering issues. Make sure to check the tire pressure once a month. The part may become loose at some point. Check for holes, in case You run over a pothole.

The Subaru Forester Wilderness trim version has a spare that is equivalent to the other tires and rims. Other trims, base, sport, touring, ect, come with a temporary use spare that is narrow but roughly full height.
