Changing the manual transmission fluid in a 2012 Ford Fiesta is a pretty easy job. You will need an oil catch canister, a ratchet with sockets, and a funnel to refill it. First either lift up the car or crawl underneath it if You do not have access to a lift. Next position the drain pan right underneath the drain bolt on the transmission so that it can catch the fluid when You release it. After that remove the drain plug using a socket and ratchet. Allow the fluid to drain until it stops. When it stops install the drain plug with a fresh washer and o-ring. Now that the transmission is all sealed You can fill it from the engine compartment using a funnel.

The 2012 ford fiesta manual transmission fluid change should be done every 30,000 to 60,000 miles.
