To turn off the speed limiter on the Ford transit You will need to take it to a shop. This is because You will need to reflash the ECU on the car. This is the computer that controls it. This requires a certain device that You will not have, unless You are also a mechanic, as it costs thousands of dollars. If You take it to a shop however they can do it in about an hour. In some places this may be against the law, and may also void any warranty You have on the car, so make sure You know what You are doing. It will cost You about 200 dollars to have it done as well.

To turn off the speed limiter on the transit, you have to open the ecu and connect a flash tool.

The ECU needs to be reprogrammed without the factory optional speed limit.Any dealer can do it and it's one hr labor plus shop supplies plus tax. No parts required. Monica above doesn't knower s**t.
The speed limiter in transits is in the BCM. Not the ecu. Therefore normal remappers won't be able to. You need to find someone with the ford tool to do it on the bcm

Having the same issue with my connect 13 plate, had it to a remap garage they have tried 4 different codes and can not remove it. We have been advised to take it a ford garage. I will update if this works.

Better yet buy a OBD reader online and get a free Tim risk of forscan on your laptop and do it yourself. OBD cost £7 😂😂 your all wrong haha.
I visited Bluespark Automotive (bluesparkautomotive.com) and got the limiter removed alongside a power upgrade. I think most good tuning companies will be able to solve it.
I've been to 2 places and both have flashed the ecu also showed me on there computer after taking it back as not been removed but there software on computer says different, does anyone else have any idea on how to remove limiter
