The back seats on the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado don't fold down in the same manner that those in other trucks do. For these, You'll want to access the seat from the driver side, and lift upwards from the bottom of the seat pan. This'll get the seat folded about 2/3rds of the way up, and then You can tilt it all the way back to get it completely out of the way. You can do the same thing with the passenger seat now, since You'll have access to the bottom of it from where You are. You can also scoot the front seats forwards a little and tilt them towards the windshield to get a bit of extra space for pets or cargo.
