To I open the gas tank on a Ford Taurus step to the driver side rear of the car and push in on the upper right of the fuel door. This will release the latch and allow You to open the door all the way. The Taurus is equipped with the Easy Fuel capless fuel filler that saves time at the pump and keeps Your hands cleaner. When refueling, insert the pump nozzle all the way in, there are two flaps inside that have to be open for proper fueling.
