To reset the Chevy captiva clock, You muSTSwitch the car key to the 'up' spot. Switch off the radio if on, stage 2. Click on the radio faceplate in phase 3 and hold the "minute" button. Move 4 and release the "000" button once "minute" appears on the radio monitor. The ability to reset the GM radios are a feature that was introduced to disallow the theft of the radio if it has been removed. This can also cause a problem if You reset the battery or disconnect the battery as well. The radio will read "LOC" and this is the time when You put in the code to reset the anti-theft feature.

You must switch the car key to the "on" place to reset the chevy captiva clock. Step 2 turn off the radio, if on. Step 3 click on the radio faceplate and keep the "minute" button. Move 4 once "000" appears on radio monitor, release the "minute" button. Step 5 click the "minute" button again until it shows the last two digits of your radio security code. Step 6 press the "hour" button until it shows the first two digits of your radio's security code.
