There is no way to reset the brake light wear light on a 2002 Lexus LS430. When this light is on, the sensor in the brakes has determined that the brake pads are too thin. If Your brakes have been changed and the light is still illuminating You will need to replace the brake light wear sensor. As brake pad wear sensors are designed to break, they should be replaced as a matter, of course, every time new brake pads are fitted. It's also advisable to regularly inspect the sensors, in between pad changes, and replace them where necessary. Over time, heat from the brakes can damage both the wiring and clips.
