Resetting the oil life indicator on Your 2006 Nissan Altima is going to be an extremely easy process when compared with other vehicles. You'll first want to give power to the vehicle but do not start up the engine. Now look towards Your steering wheel and You're going to see a reset button. You're going to need to hold this button down and while at the same time start the engine for the vehicle. Let it run for about 10 minutes and then kill the power.
