The oil change light on Your 2007 Acura RDX needs to be reset after every oil change so that the system can determine when the next oil change is due. The procedure only takes a few moments. First, set the power mode to the "On" position and then use the "Info" button to highlight "Customize Settings." Then select it using the "Sel/Reset" button. Now select "Maintenance Info" and again press the "Sel/Reset" button. You are now in Oil Life Reset mode. Use the up and down buttons to to find and select "Reset." Finally, press the "Sel/Reset" and You will notice that the engine oil life display has been reset to 100%. You have completed the procedure and You can turn Your ignition off.

To reset the 2007 acura rdx oil light, turn the ignition to (ii)-do not start the engine. Click the sel / reset button on the steering wheel repeatedly before the oil life of the engine is seen. Click and hold the sel button for more than 10 seconds. The remaining engine oil life reset mode will be seen on the multi-information monitor. Select reset by pressing the info (up / down) button, and then click the sel / reset button to restore the engine oil life display.
