Before You go out and replace the wireless control module on Your 2007 Dodge Caliber or even pull the ignition fuse out and put it back, let's try something else to turn off the anti-theft system. We're going to reset the PCM (computer controlled fuse box). Remove the key from Your ignition, and then pop the hood. Locate Your battery and remove the negative cable from it. Now, remove the positive cable as well. Keeping the cables very far away from the battery, hold them together for 10 minutes (You're allowed to use a helper for this; kids love things that spark --- just don't do it around the social workers) and don't be alarmed at the initial sparks. This will drain any residual power from the system. After 10 minutes, reconnect everything. Now, restart the car. If the anti-theft issue remains, then there's either still an active issue on the circuit, or the TIPM/PCM potentially needs to be replaced.

Performing a reset of the 2007 dodge caliber anti-theft mechanism is fairly easy if you follow these directions, you will insert the ignition key and turn it to the on spot, and then attempt to start the engine (crank over), the engine does not run. With the key still in the run spot, wait 10 minutes, and the safety light will flash and then go out. Turn the key off and wait for 5 seconds.
